Bio: Leyla was born and raised up in China and came to Canada in 2014 to pursue her MA degree in Education. With a strong passion in international student education, Leyla did most of her research exploring adaptation and integration experiences of international students in Canada during her master’s studies and her research findings have been presented at several national conferences in Canada and abroad. Leyla has a profound understanding of difficulties and challenges that international students may face in Canada, and with a deep knowledge of the Canadian higher education system.
